He might be the greatest Michael in the world, he’s Jordan, a legendary of basketball.
“By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.” Jordan was one of the most effectively marketed athletes of his generation and was instrumental in popularizing the NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.
I respect him since I was a boy, this is an illustration for my respect to him.

On Feb 2, 2009, New York City, Kobe Bryant broke the current arena record with 61 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers looked plenty potent without Bynum in a 126-117 victory over the New York Knicks on Monday night.
I just created a illustration for Kobe’s 61, the new MSG record!
The line is “It’s not for surmounting”.
With the friendly support of Toy2R, Designer Dragon Wang(ZJ DESIGN) has unveiled two 8-inch custom-made figures “Mark & Tinker in Beijing” for Mark Parker and Tinker Hatfield, whom are the leaders of Nike.
On May 12th and June 21st this year, I had chance to meet them with nice conversations. After that, I planed to do a project of “Mark & Tinker in Beijing” to represent my respect to them.
In 2008, ZJ DESIGN had cooperated with New Era to release 2 series caps, J23 and Beijing Mask, both based on the original design of ZJ DESIGN.

“Beijing Mask” Series
“Beijing Mask” Series – 59FIFTY & Mesh Cap
ZJ DESIGN unveiled “Beijing Opera Mask” for the Olympic 2008. including 6 colors tees, and cooperate with New Era for this edition, hand made of 100% wool. The design concept originates from the “Beijing Opera Mask” that represents the traditional culture of Beijing. The Opera Mask design has combined the elements in a traditional form by adopting an innovative method.
The main visual is compose by typical KanYe’s unique sunglasses and Chinese character “Beijing” inside. I used the night light material in printing for special atmosphere of this concert.

To me, design for Unicef definitely is a honor.
In 2007, the Women world cup was held in China. As one of the official sponsors Unicef planed to carry out a global activity for women’s right.
This work was took over by my agency, Saatchi & Saatchi Beijing, I was one of the participating designers. After several rounds of changes, my design was selected. The follow-up work would be finished by me. As the only Chinese designer, I must do a good job with the design and prove the strength of Chinese designer.
The final design had been approved by Unicef headquarters for all forms of propaganda all over the world.
