As the final stop of Jordan Flight Tour China 2011, they visited Beijing on Aug. 1.
Very glad to prepare gifts “Beijing Opera Mask” for each player of Jordan Team – Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. It’s a good memory to meet these big guys at Nike Beijing flagship store with AJ-TALK guys.

To celebrate Ray Allen’s 3-Point record – 2561, AJ TALK and ZJ DESIGN just released a limited edition tee with a special paper box.
The AJ XXIII artwork is composed of “R”, “A”, “Y” and “20″, using the Celtic color way.
Only 20 sets for good friends, not for sell.
Recently, I was invited to design a artwork for Rising Up Laser Skateboards Exhibition. The artwork will be engraved on skateboard by laser.
The Exhibition will open to public at loft345 Guangzhou, from July 30 to August 5, 9 AM till later.

“DRAW N SK8″ – Chau Man’s 1st Skateboard Art Exhibition. ZJ DESIGN was in charge of the design project.

ZJ DESIGN and Li-Ning unveiled a set of sneakers collaboration about 2011 the International Year of Forests, named “Water & Wood”.
The UN has designated 2011 the International Year of Forests. Both water and wood are important to human and environment, ZJ DESIGN cooperated with the famous Chinese brand Li-Ning to design a series of sneakers for this theme.
The inspiration came from the “water promotes wood” in the Chinese theory of Five Elements, I love the Chinese culture very much, that’s why I chose them as the theme. The Wood and Water icons are designed based on the ancient seal character, the theory “Yin-Yang” are put into the them as well. The whole pattern is inspirited from the water resource map and the annual ring of tree. Simple and miscellaneous things are interrelated. Especially I integrated the characters “L”, “N”, “G”, “Z”, “J” into the laser pattern.
The blue color means the source of life and pink stands for the flower of life.
Hope this project could promote people to focus more on the continuous developing of environment.

联合国将2011年定为世界森林年。水和木对人类生活和地球环境至关重要，ZJ DESIGN和中国著名品牌李宁合作为此主题设计一系列球鞋。
设计灵感源于中国的五行概念中的“水”生“木”，二者相互关联。两个版本的Logo分别是由汉字“水”和“木”的篆书演变而来，将阴阳的概念融入其中。鞋面的图案灵感来源于水资源的地理分布图和树的年轮，简单的图案关系着繁杂的万物，特别将鞋侧的LN Logo和字母“L”、“N”、“G”、“Z”、“J”分别融入到鞋面的镭射图案中。
“水”版本的蓝色寓意生命源泉，“木”版本里的粉红色寓意生命之花。
希望通过这个主题可以倡导人们更加关注环境的持续发展。

Remember the 50 heroes!
We do not know their names, their faces, their families or their personal stories. Nobody really does. They are strangers, in a faraway land, doing the unthinkable.
In Japan they have a name: The Fukushima 50. A coterie of nuclear plant employees — some reports indicate 50, others suggest four working rotations of 50 — who stayed behind while 700 of their co-workers were evacuated from the stricken Fukushima-Daiichi facility on the Japanese coast.
Five have been killed. Two are missing. Twenty-one have been injured in a struggle where, in the words of Japan’s Prime Minister Naoto Kan, “retreat is unthinkable.”
The men understand the stakes. They know there is no turning back. One worker told a departing colleague he was prepared to die — that it was his job. Another informed his wife he wouldn’t be coming home anytime soon.
When I was a child, the only impression of NBA was the Chicago Bulls dynasty which lead by the “Lord” Michael Jordan. As the great idol of most people, I just made the illustration and cooperated with Size Media and AJ-Talk to celebrate Michael’s 48th B-Day.
